Bollywood choreographers that made us dance to the beats

Bollywood movies are known for their larger-than-life dance sequences that make us groove to their beats. While the actors in the movies get most of the credit for these dances, it is the choreographers behind them that deserve a lot of recognition. In this article, we will take a look at Bollywood choreographers that have made us dance on the beats.

1. Saroj Khan 

Known as the "Mother of Dance" in Bollywood, Saroj Khan was a legendary choreographer who passed away in 2020. She was known for her iconic dance sequences in movies like Mr. India, Tezaab, and Devdas, and was a three-time National Award winner for Best Choreography.



2. Farah Khan 
Farah Khan is one of the most successful and popular choreographers in Bollywood today. She has choreographed some of the most iconic dance sequences in movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Om Shanti Om, and Happy New Year. She has also directed several movies and is a successful filmmaker.


3. Vaibhavi Merchant 
Vaibhavi Merchant is one of the most talented choreographers in Bollywood. She is known for her intricate and complex dance sequences and has choreographed some of the most memorable songs in movies like Devdas, Bajirao Mastani, and Kalank.


4. Ganesh Acharya 
Ganesh Acharya is a versatile choreographer who has worked on several hit Bollywood movies. He is known for his energetic and dynamic dance sequences and has choreographed songs in movies like Singh is King, Golmaal, and Rowdy Rathore.


5. Remo D'Souza 
Remo D'Souza is a popular choreographer and filmmaker who has made a mark in Bollywood with his unique and innovative dance sequences. He has choreographed songs in movies like Race 3, ABCD, and Street Dancer 3D, and has also directed several movies.
