Doctor G breaking the stereotypes
Though Bollywood is consistently named-called for being highly influenced by nepotism, there are some actors who have marked their niche in Tinseltown irrespective of being an ‘Outsider’, Ayushman Khurana is one of them. He is always been appreciated for his versatile acting and wide selection of films. With his new life Doctor G which was released today, he has embarked on touching yet another sensitive issue by playing a character of a male doctor who pursues the course of a Gynecology.
This film has been directed by Anubhuti Kashyap whose previous works include the Amazon Prime show Afsos. She is the younger sister of legendary filmmaker Anurag Kashyap. This film marks the journey of a young medical student(Ayushmann`s character) who takes up a gynaecologist course because he has no choice due to his poor results in the post-medical exam. He wanted to be orthopaedic but is forced to be a gynaecologist. Like all Ayushmann Khuranna films, this film breaks the stereotype of the male gender minority in gynaecology.
