1. Aashiqui 2 (2013)
Successor to the original 1990 superhit film Aashiqui, Aashiqui 2 revolves around a singer played by Aditya Roy Kapoor who loses his fans and fame due to alcoholism. But he then decides to turn a small-time singer played by Shraddha Kapoor into a rising star. The pair was loved by the audience and the critics and the film did amazing at the box office.
2. Ek Villain (2014)
A story of two antagonists, Ek Villain is about a notorious gangster whose terminally ill wife is murdered by a sadistic serial killer. Shraddha played a stellar role in bringing a lot of reality to her character and showing off her versatility.
3. Haider (2014)
Based on the insurgency-hit Kashmir conflicts of 1995, civilian disappearances, & Pak-sponsored Terrorism, Haider is a modern-day adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet. Shraddha's role was based on Ophelia's role in Hamlet, and she played it to perfection.
4. ABCD 2 (2015)
Loosely based on the real-life story of Suresh Mukund and Vernon Monteiro, founders of the dance crew 'The Kings', who won the World Hip Hop Dance Championship in San Diego. Shraddha Kapoor was applauded by many for her excellent dance performances in the film. She yet again impressed us with her versatility.
5. Stree (2018)
Based on Karnataka's urban legend known as Nale Ba, Stree is a story about a female ghost who knocks on people's doors at night. The horror-comedy was yet another genre Shraddha ventured into and aced it.
