Movies that helped us understand the struggles of life and served as a warm hug
Bollywood movies are spot on descriptions of our lives. Some teach us how to love while the others teach us about the struggles of life. Be it your journey to become a businessman or your efforts to keep your friends group together, it all comes down to those small efforts you make every day and Bollywood is the best example.
A movie for every struggle you can go through in your life has been made. Some of them are as follows:
Taare Zameen Par:
The story is of a kid who suffers from Dyslexia. He is always criticised by his parents for his poor performance in academics. Finally, they send him to a boarding school, where his art teacher helps him overcome his problems. Although the movie caters to the struggles of a small group, it serves its purpose in educating parents about the disorder.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara:
Whenever we hear about ZNMD all we can think of is that amazing trip. It sure makes us want to go backpacking across the world, but it shows the struggles friends go through. We all will get jobs and continue with our lives, but once in a while we all need our friends by our side. The struggle is real and so is our love for this movie.
Damini:
Released in the year 1999, Damini is the story of a woman who wants to help her maid get justice, but to do so she needs to fight her in-laws, husband and the corrupt world. We all want justice but the efforts that need to be put in are not as simple as they seem. It’s not easy to stand up against everything you ever believed in.
Dil Chahta Hai:
We all want friends, and love in our lives. We all make mistakes, but the real deal is when you work hard enough to make the wrongs right. Life is nothing without the people we love and the struggle to keep them with us demands effort. This is exactly what Dil Chahta Hai teaches us.
Rocket Singh: Salesman Of The Year:
No one believes in you when you want to take the road less taken, it is your hard work, struggle and efforts that help you reach your goals. Rocket Singh (Ranbir Singh) is the best example of struggles every entrepreneur goes through.
Baghban:
We make mistakes and hurt our parents, intentionally or unintentionally, but they always shower us with their love and blessings. They do struggle to forgive our mistakes. Baghban is the story of one such family, where sons become selfish after their father retires.
You might be going through one such struggle in life. Save the list for when you need to watch a movie that matches that emotion.
