Roles of Nargis Fakhri that showcased her true potential

Nargis is a Bollywood diva born to a multicultural family in the United States. She started her modelling career in her teens and was a participant in America`s Next Top Model. Nargis is recognised as drop-dead gorgeous in a true sense and here on her birthday, we have curated a list of films that showcased her true potential

1. Madras Cafe

Nargis hails the role of a war correspondent in this political drama. Her role was widely applauded by critics and her fans. This film was directed by Shojit Sarkar and stars John Abram in the lead role.



2. Rockstar

This film marks the inception of her acting career. Rockstar is widely remembered for its songs and Ranbir`s acting.  Nargis plays the role of a college girl who eventually falls in love with Ranbir`s character. 



3. Azhar
Azhar is based on the life of former Indian cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin and sparked a lot of controversies during its release. Nargis plays the role of Sangeeta Bijlani, a former Miss India and a Bollywood actress.


4. 5 Weddings
This is an Indo-American film starring Rajkumar Rao and Nargis Fakhri. Nargis plays the role of an American Journalist who travels to India for a magazine feature on multiple Indian wedding ceremonies.
