1. Manike - Thank God (2022)
After the super success of Manike Mage Hithe song by Srilankan singer Yohani, the song was remade as Manike with Jubin Nautiyal and Yohani for the song Thank God featuring Siddharth Malhotra and Nora Fatehi. This song has now taken over Instagram reels and has over 160 million playbacks.
2. Jehda Nasha - An Action Hero (2022)
Amar Jalal Group produced a song Nasha in 2019 and it became an instant chartbuster this year, the song was remade as Jehda Nasha for the film An Action Hero starring Ayushmann Khurrana. The song indeed has a different feel to it, but we all agree that it's made us forget the original one.
3. Kudi Meri (2022)
The iconic song Sapne Mein Milti Hai from Satya was remade as Kudi Meri featuring Abhimanyu Dasani and Dhvani Bhanushali under the banner of Hitz Music. The song had a cameo by Manoj Bajpayee who even shook a leg and repeated his iconic dialogue “Mumbai ka king kaun?” from Satya. Indeed a nostalgia trip makes this song even more special.
4. Nikamma - Nikamma (2022)
The OG song Nikamma Kiya Is Dil Ne from the film Kya Dil Ne Kahaa was sung by Shaan and Sanjivani and was remade as Nikamma for the film Nikamma. The song features Abhimanyu Dasani, Shirley Setia, and Shilpa Shetty who dance to the electrifying beats.
5. Nach Punjaban - JugJugg Jiyo (2022)
Considered the most iconic party song, Nach Punjaban was a song first composed by Pakistani singer Abrar Ul Haq in 2001 and is still considered one of the most iconic songs. The newer version although has an upbeat tempo but still makes our feet move once it's played.
