In a grand tribute to cinematic brilliance, the NEXA IIFA Awards unfolded on March 9th, celebrating Indian cinema’s unparalleled influence on the world stage. Renowned for its immense international appeal and legacy of excellence, IIFA’s Silver Jubilee Spectacle brought together the brightest stars, visionary filmmakers, and industry leaders from across the globe.

The prestigious NEXA Presents IIFA Awards, Co-Presented by Sobha Realty 2025, ignited an electrifying competition for cinematic excellence across categories, including Best Picture, Best Direction, Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female & Male), Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Female & Male), Best Performance in a Negative Role, Music Direction, and Playback Singer (Male & Female).

The grand celebration witnessed an electrifying contest across multiple categories, including Best Picture, Best Direction, Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female & Male), Best Performance in a Supporting Role (Female & Male), Best Performance in a Negative Role, Music Direction, and Playback Singer (Male & Female). The evening also witnessed IIFA Special Honours,

·       Pratibha Ranta was awarded Best Debut Female (Film) for her outstanding performance in Laapataa Ladies, while Lakshya Lalwani received Best Debut Male (Film) for his power-packed role in Kill.

·       The Best Directorial Debut (Film) honour was bestowed upon Kunal Khemu for his impressive directorial venture, Madgaon Express.

·       Adding to the night’s glory, the legendary filmmaker Rakesh Roshan was felicitated with the prestigious Outstanding Achievement in Indian Cinema award, celebrating his unparalleled legacy and contributions to the industry.
